Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used.

The Information We Collect

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on The Denver Center for Crime Victims' website. On some pages, you can order tickets, register for events or make an online donation. The types of personal information collected on these pages include:

Address
Email Address
Phone Number
Credit/Debit Card Information (for donations, ticket orders)

The Way We Use Information

We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order or making a donation to complete that request. Individuals who make purchases or donations are entered into our donor database. Donors will receive future mailings and emails related to DCCV events and are listed as a donor in our annual report. We do not share this information with outside parties. We use return email addresses to answer emails we receive and to send e-announcements and newsletters.

We never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above. Individuals not wanting to receive emails, mailings or be listed as a donor in our annual report can opt-out by indicating so in the Notes section of our online order page, or by contacting us at admin@denvervictims.org or (303) 860-0660.

Our Commitment to Data Security

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

How You Can Access or Correct Your Information

You can correct errors in your personally identifiable information by sending us a request, either by mail or email. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before making corrections.
